Uneventful Week

Well, this past week has been really uneventful. I mean besides the Sox going 3 - 0 in the World Series. I had a few meetings this past weekend which were good (good meaning productive). The Fong’s gave me a CD with the pictures of Yoko and Sandi’s wedding that they took. I’ve narrowed our Christmas picture down to 3 … which one do you like (leave a comment)?

1.
My family

2.
My brothers

3.
My family Again

Hehe, we look nice, I guess that’s subjective … I think we look nice. Hopefully we’re done with Christmas pictures for the year.

Played ball on Sunday, Black went 1 - 1 for the day, not bad, not bad.

I found out that I have 3 exams next week  I’m going to be in some serious trouble if I don’t do well on Econ and Chemisrty. So while I’m on vacation this weekend, I guess I’ll be in the room a little hittin’ the books  Ta ta for now.

Happy Birthday Ma

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

It’s ma’s birthday today, so she took a floating holiday. Her company gives then these floating holidays that you can use on your birthday or Halloween or Columbus Day, days that you wouldn’t normally get off of work, but it’s nice to have. So she’s home now, either on the computer playing Bejeweled ooor working on her Sudoku book. I’m voting for the latter of the two. I wonder if she got Tyrus up to go to school. Papie is making dinner, stinks that I’ll have to miss because of school…maaaybe I’ll come home early
She’s a good mom, always provides for us … Working hard and such. She folds all of our laundry, if you’ve ever been to our place you’ve seen the piles in the basement.
Ok, back to work.

I Apologize …

I apologize to my adoring and faithful readers, it’s been two weeks since I’ve channed. A couple of things have been going on. My finals were so so, I did as expected. Got an A in my 2 comp sci classes and I really need to study more for my other 2. It’s hard to want to study for something that you know you’re never going to use after the semester. Other then that school is going well, I’m preparing for my home stretch of ‘06. I’ll most likely be taking 4 comp sci classes in spring, against my advisor’s advice. The nice thing about my major classes is that I’m chilling with people outside of class, so it’s good to get to know people who can help you study for exams and such.
Our family had the annual apple picking outing. We had many guests this year and I think a record number of people came out. Good times with family and friends. I’ve have uploaded my pictures for you all to take a look at. The weather was a little chilly, but that’s ok it’s fall. We went to Huntly on the way home, I picked up 3 shirts for $45, nice nice.
CCPMBL is in it’s 4th or 5th week I think. Black team has a 2 wins and once again, the team I’m on is in last. I see a trend going on here. The lowest common denominator is me :) . Ahh well. Just need to play harder and level up on the skill.
Work is work. I’m thankful just to have a job …

3 Down 1 to Go

Last week and this week are my first wave of exams. Oddly enough, my comp sci exams aren’t really that tough, the chemistry one was on the harder side (100 multiple guess questions) and the econ exam is Thursday (essay). Other then the fact that I’ll probably bomb the econ one, I think these weeks have went well. In the midst of all of this Yoko and Sandi (pictures) got married this weekend. I took Friday off to help out with some stuff, it was a good relaxing day. Saturday rolled, the wedding was good. I had a lot of fun, catering to everyone, schmoozing and such. It was good to see old friends there. Congratulations to the couple, they’re off to Hawaii for 8 days starting today!
