Hrm…What does this mean?

So Michael and Lauren were at the cribby last night, chillin’ before camp and talking about Michael’s future :D Anyhoo Lauren was taking this IQ test thingy so I decided to take it. Here’s what I got.

I Just Has to Post

this morning i was getting ready to change maddy’s clothes so i laid her on the bed in her room (my old bed). then i noticed a stink coming from her diaper, so i got ready to change her diaper on the bed. everything was fine n dandy … changed her diaper, changed her clothes … then when i picked her up after snapping the bottom of her outfit, i smelled a poopy smell. i checked all over her clothes but didn’t see anything … then i saw a little bit of poop on the bed. no big deal. it was a really small dab and it wasn’t smeared or anything so i just got a wipe and swooped it up. no harm done. (sorry if this is really gross to some of you - after changing 1284929 diapers, you become somewhat immune to the grossness of poop.) anyway, then i took her into the bathroom with me so i can wash my hands …. now comes the gross part (even for a diaper-changing fiend such as me). as i’m holding her and washing my hands (i know, i’m talented … well not really - i just wash them one at a time. ), i notice another poopy smell. this time i see where it’s coming from right away …. she has poop on her hand!!! the hand she had just taken out of her MOUTH. i screamed, grabbed her hand and put it under the faucet than started splashing water and soap all over her mouth, face and hand. now the big question … did she like it? umm…. it’s really hard to say … i’m hoping not but she was laughing while i was going crazy trying to clean her up and just generally being really grossed out. she was more likely laughing at what i was doing than laughing because she enjoyed the taste of her poo so much. at least that’s what i like to think. UGH.

I was laughing so hard I began to cry :-D

I’m Excited ^.^

It’s a nice cool Tuesday morning. I’m trying to think of everything that I’m going to do today after work; I’m going to see my buddy at J. Baur (if you need a cut, let me know I’ll hook you up with a really good guy), then ball with Pauly, Yoko, Nitro and the others, then work on Chi-KO stuff.

Guys, I’m really excited about Chi-KO this year for many reasons. I mean I get exctied every year I go up for for some reason this year more then most:
Maybe is because I’ve been psyching myself up that this will be my last year directing (but once a director always a director right) and I want to make the most of it. I mean I look to Kenny even John for wisdom on a lot of issues.
Maybe it’s because of the awesome staff this year. I was talking to Jason last night and we had a record number of people come out and help us with posters. Our staff this year includes 9 returning leaders and 10 new leaders. 2 of them have directed Chi-KO before, we have 2 fathers, 4.5 Chinese brothers and sisters, a brotha, my brother, my very understanding and patient girlfriend (God knows what she puts up with :D , but he knows what I put up with too ;) ), many musicians, singers, gamers … most importantly (and this is true every year I’ve lead) 19 people who LOVE the Lord.
Maybe it’s because I know the Lord is going to work and bless the campers as well as the leaders and we’re all going to be challenged in one way or another up at Lake Gevena. Kenny will be bringing us God’s word and I’m sooo glad that I get to serve with him again!
I know I’m excited to see how God will be using the leaders this year in future minisrties. Who know’s maybe we have future pastors or missionaries among us. Maybe the spark is in this group of leaders that’s going to cause revival in this nation.

Twice in a Week … o.o

I know, it’s odd that I do this two times in a week, but I was just excited…Well except for the couple of times I rushed to the bathroom this morning Today I have a confirmed speaker for Chi-KO, none other then Mr. Kenny Nakai! It’s going to be awesome working with him again, so I hope you campers are looking forward to it. Eight female leaders, seven males (not including Dan, because I’d rather have him not lead a cabin this year) and a speaker. The speaker used to be a director and one of the cabin leaders used to direct camp when I was in a junior cabin! CRAZY! I know God is going to do great things this summer … Ephesians 3:20-21: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” That’s one of my favorite verses. So I’m really looking forward Chi-KO in a few short, very short weeks.
I’ve been kind of anxious to get my grades only because I was frusterated with both of the classes that I finished this summer. One of my professors (Programming II) had in his syllabus a condition on grading that read, “If all programs aren’t turned in, in working condition, a grade no higher then a C will be given.” My last assignment was not in working condition and I thought the final was crazy hard. My other class (Earth Science, Resources and the Environment) had a professor that was gung-ho about the topic and really wanted us to get into it. Her midterm and final were a little extensive (at least most of the class thought so) for a 100 level class. I was a little worried about my final in that class too, considering that I had to go on was my notes. I learned from Nicole (who did quite well in school) that I shouldn’t waste money on books. I was the guy who’d buy every book for the class and never read it, then sell it back for 1/100 of the original cost. I was actually stressed because for the past year and a half or so I think I’ve only recieved one C, and I wanted to apply for this scholorship (right about now…if you know me at least, you’re probably thinking “What the heck?!? When did Dru get serious about school?”). I wouldn’t say that I’m serious about school because I enjoy it, rather I look forward to just finishing! Since tuition comes out of my paycheck I’d like that to pay as little as possible. So am I serious, maybe only because I need to be at this stage in life…I’m 25 for crying out loud with no degree, and honestly it annoys me. So I’ve been anxious to see my grades, I was positive I got a B in Earth Science and C or lower in programming (because I couldn’t get my last program to work correctly and that was the stipulation in the syllabus). I check yesterday, no grades…checked today and here they are:

I’m sooo happy, now if I can pull off an A in my CS 300 class it’ll be the first time ever in my life I got straight A s in a semester! hehe :D Ok, I’m talkin’ too much.

BBQ tomorrow, awards for Big Show who are the CCPMBL champs! Gooooo green! CS 300 class on Saturday along with my lil’ cousins birthday party! Exciting.

Oh every news has some bad news…the Probe is going to Car X again, I hope it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg, but I guess it beats getting headaches and nausia.
