Then I’m off to sit in rain for the weekend >.< It’s my family’s annual tradition to go camping as I mentioned in my last chan entry. What I did not mention is that everytime we go it rains, the only time it didn’t rain was 2 years ago when I was driving my buddy back from Pheonix and I wasn’t there. 4 day forecast: Friday (T-Storms), Saturday (Rain), Sunday (Scattered Showers), Monday (Sunny), of course it’s always sunny the day we leave so that’s nothing new. Regardless of the weather, we all still have a great time, and I’m definitely looking forward to it!

Officially, summer school stinks, but I must bear with it. I find it intriguing that people will open their mouths and say wrong answers thoughout the 3 and some hours we’re sitting in the room. I want to say, “I didn’t pay my tuition to listen to you try to sound intellectual!” Alas, I must hold my tounge, after all, I’m soon to be 25 and still in school, so what do I know?
I must pack tonight. Should I take up a tutoring position for these next 4 weeks and help someone out with Programming II (It’s most likely a classmate of mine, but things are coming easy to me). He’s willing to pay $10 an hour, I could use the extra dough…but Edswardo said I shouldn’t take less then $30. Hrmm…is my time worth $10/hour? Would you pay $10/hour for me? I dunno.
Ohhh, man I was ROFL today. Anyone see Conan O’Brien’s “Triumph the Dog’s” Star Wars sketch. I’m must be an uber nerd, hehe. You can view it here. I was crackin’ up for the entire thing. This is the second time I’ve seen it. Ok, I’ll part with that…WATCH IT! (Disclaimer: probably not suitable for younger viewers, maybe a PG-13 rating).

Wow, the first day of summer school. I’ve taken online classes during the summer, but never set foot inside a school during the summer. Let me say that it is a bad as I thought. I’d be on my way home from work right now, maybe workout or get some work done on my father’s computer, but instead I have another class from 5:35 - 9! Aish, crazy…but it’s my form of punishment for myself for many years of slacking off in college.
The wedding this weekend was beautiful. Big congratulations to Michael and Lauren! They are off in the Caribbians somewhere right now. The inlaw’s house was nice! I had tons of fun hangin’ out with the guys, Nicole and some of the Cali peeps. I’ll be posting pictures either tonight or tomorrow sometime, so be on the lookout!
So I’m sitting here in the halls of NEIU right now, I just finished my program for CS 207 due next week, yay! Finished in 1 hour. I was sitting here watchin an older gentleman, he reminded me of George from Seinfeld. Anyway he was tossin’ some game at this red head here, he must have said, “Ok, I see you’re busy, so I’ll leave now” about 10 times, all the while I’m thinking, Ok just leave! Tehn a little further down the hall a girl in an orange shirt was startled by a bird (what looks like to be a dove) committing suicide by flying into the glass window. Now the poor bird is lying on the woodchips I think it was being chased by a crow. Sad!
Memorial Day Camping for me this weekend. I’m off to Pine Woods (I think) with family and friends to go on our annual camping trip. Tons of FUN! I’ve been looking forward to this for a while now. I’ll be sure to get pics of this. It a chill time where I can sit back and relax with mother nature and not shower for 4 days! Fire, good food, hangin’ out with friends and my family, not much beats this.

Well, we pulled into Cleveland at 10:45 their time last night. Chilled for a little at the hotel, then went across the street to Dave and Busters, for some reason this D&B is better then the one in Chicago, they have better games out here.
Oh, if you didn’t know, I’m in Ohio for a wedding, one of my good buddies is getting married today to the love of his life. A lot of the Chi Town people came up here to support them and what not. It’s 9 Chicago time, I woke up at 7 Chicago time which I thought was odd because I went to sleep at 3. 3 of us went to sleep last night and I work up with 6 people in the room!
We’re off to Bob Evans for breakfast, then who knows what we’re doing afterwards. Wedding is at 4. I’ll post later on.

For me to post again It has been 5 days since I last reported. Well if you’re keeping up the the basketball league, I added a link to my page. Big Show’s with a new record of 1-5! Again I must mention that the playoff Chicago Bulls went 0-9 I think, so we still have hope! Had a close game with the Quicho-chan’s and got a spankin’ by the Blueberries. I take blame for our losing streak, without a doubt I’m the weak link on the team, so more practice for Dru and we’ll be good, I think.
The weekend was full of good times, I got the Chi-KO applications out and worship I thought went well, always a few rough spots with me leading, but all in all, good stuff. Party on Saturday for my brothers was fun as usual. Chillin’ with the family and friends is always a good time. Sunday we ate a grammy’s and played a little scrabble, I have a losing record against Nicole 1-5 or 6 I think. I’ll make a comeback though, it’s my nature to. We had dinner at Siam Cafe just to try something new and because it’s Tanya’s parents place. I must say delicious! I think that’s all for now…oh yea, my softball team is 0-2, it must be me! We’re playing today so good luck to us!

Well another week gone by, about a month and a half until I turn 25, aish…midlife crisis! Assuming that my life is half over, I’ve accomplished … let me thing … … … maybe a bit longer … … not much yay. Congratulations on mediocrity! I don’t know what made me think about that, it was kinda random, sorry.
Ok, well TGIF again. Another couple of games tonight: Big Show’s (why we’re called the “Big Show” I’m not sure, but I life Green Machine better) face off against the Japinoy’s and the Quicho-chan’s (you might have to hightlight the name to the left…it’s in black). Our record is 1-3, but the Bulls got off to a slow start right, let’s hope our luck turns around tonight! My body is feeling a little weird, I’m going to have to stretch a lot.
Some good news, I found my watch that I thought I lost…bad news, the second hand broke off >.<
Do you guys ever get those girls asking you, “Have you ever cried during a movie?” For me it was movies like Armageddon, when Harry is telling Grace that he’s gonna stay behind, or the Lion King, when Simba’s dad dies. I thought about this today as I was watching the season finale for Las Vegas (Season 1). I was getting a little teary eyed, I don’t know what caused it but man….good stuff. Also during this week’s episode of Naruto. Now I’m a man’s man, but sometimes you know I just gotta let loose. C’mon you guys know what I’m talking about.
I’m a little ahead of the game in terms of my weekend. I finished the service earlier then I thought I would and Chi-KO applications are finished! yay On a side note, I might be a private tutor for a Computer Science student in the fall. From what I understand she’s a sweet, deaf girl who was having trouble in 200 and 201. This is odd now, I can’t believe people want me to tutor them, but we’ll see if this evolves into anything. My guess is they’ll find a graduate student or someone else.
