Channing ~The New Craze~

So I said that I’d never do a blog, but this is not blogging. If you look, it called channing (pronunced ch on ing). It’s going to be the new craze for the next week or so by me. Since, I’m actually interested in working on my site again.

This actually like most of my pages was not my code. Yes, I am a hack and I like to take other people’s stuff, I can’t design a website becuase I have probably only one ounce of creativity in me and it was used up throughout the years. So, I found something that I liked and made it my own with a little personalization. As you can see by the banner there, 2 hobbies of mine. I enjoy a good smoke (that one is a Upmann No. 2), usually I don’t drink whisky, but I’m Japanese you know and I thought it was a cool looking picture.

Thanks to the few that still come to my site, though I don’t update often. We’ll see if I can keep this up!! Take care.

Links on the Right

Ok, so I’ve added a few links to this chan site. The first set are friends and family. If they don’t have the word website next to it, then it’s their blog or xanga site, otherwise it’s something that they put together.
The next set of links are sites that I either support or am a frequent visitor to. I was one of the early guys for ChicagoFPS and helped them get started ^.^ Killer Beans had some really good coffee. Everyone that has sampled it from my family and friends enjoy it. Cigar Weekly is a community of people who share the hobby. Fulled with some of the nicest people I know.
More updates to come…I’ll be adding a gallery (soon I hope).

Weekend …

So it was an interesting weekend to say the least. A friend came from Arizona to visit.

Nicole & Debbie
Nicole (my babie) & Debbie in the loop

2.5 years ago, when I first went to visit Arizona I met her. Kept in touch ever since…Anyhoo, it was good to see her. Spent a lot of time with her and Nicole this past weekend.
I bowled a 172 on Sunday…my all time high :-D .

Oh…I also put up a Gallery for your viewing pleasure. More piktars will definitely be on the way!

Passion Week

So today on the Christian calender is Good Friday. What does that mean for me, well for one, it means I get 2 hours holiday pay, yay :-D ! I told the worship team last week that this has been a rough time for me. I feel like I’m super busy, or I’m a lazy mug. It could be some of each..maybe 70/30, I don’t know. It just doesn’t feel like easter, not that I know what easter is supposed to feel like. It’s just weird I guess…

I haven’t seen my brothers all week, except when I wake up for work and see them sleeping. D is in Florida, but he comes home today I think. Went out to dinner with my parents last night…always a good time. I was ranting about work and how I hate corporate bull. Ah well, start a company perhaps?

Speaking of which, my coworker asked me to start a company with him the yesterday. I told myself that I wouldn’t until I graduate, but this time around it wouldn’t involve money…just time, a lot of time, I’m going to try and learn asp.net and other programming languages, blah. I’ll be giving my answer this Monday. It’s exciting, but at the same time scary. Time is one of the most valuable things a person has. Wasted time you’ll never get back. You can work harder/longer and get money or material things, but not time.

Missy is currently watching me at work. And I’m about to go to lunch with my group, the Big Downtown ::yum::.

sickness

Ok so, I decided that I’m not getting sick anymore. Why…well it’s a complete waste of time, I don’t really enjoy feeling like poop all day and it pretty much is good for nothing. So that’s it, I’ll never get sick again.

The Story:
On Easter Sunday, I was at my lady’s apartment getting ready for dinner at my aunt’s place when I start to feel a little sick; nauseous and headache to be exact. We head to O’Hare to pick up D, then to my parents place. I wanted to catch a ride, otherwise we’d have 14213 cars from the same household heading to the same place, then back again, so me being the resourceful person I am wanted to save on gas too :) Well I started to get a little crabby. Anyhoo so were at my aunt’s having a nice dinner and I’m feelin’ way worse. Nausea and headache x 5 by this point. Toss in a stinging eye (I had to take out my contact, so I was 1/2 blind), muscle ache and EVERYTHING that touched my mouth tasting the same (Now it would be ok if everything tasted like..let’s say chicken curry, but no, it had to taste like I don’t even know, but it was not good). I leave early with my bro…

Oh I’ll toss in a side story. On the way home we get rear ended my a black Audi with no rear plate. “lkwh efoahw gohw gohoha;g” ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Of all the luck.

Ok back to the me not getting sick any more story…Umm, Monday I woke up 5 times in the night 2 of the those times I was freezing, like how I’d feel camping…in the winter…in the Artic! The other 3 times I woke up I felt like I was sleeping in a oven, my pants and shirt drenched in sweat. It literally felt like burning hot fiya. I wake up call Nicole to come take care of me, fall asleep wake up to eat, then sleep again. I started to feel better around dinner. Then just wanted to recover more. But all in all, it != fun, I don’t recommend it to anyone. That was my last few days.

On a happy note the Fighting Illini beat the Arizona Wildcats in what some say a miracle victory on Saturday evening in an Elite Eight match. That’s ok, miracle or not a win is a win ^.^ So my wonderful lady wore an Illini hat on Sunday and cooked me a wonderful dinner last night, with cookies, yum. Thank you hun =)
